Michelle Guerrero The “Concentration Girl”

Hi, friends!  Have you ever known exactly what you wanted, but you had to rearrange some things at times in order to get there?  Michelle Guerrero knows what that’s like.  Check out her sweet interview:

What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was a kid, I wanted to do something with horses. I didn’t have a plan. A 10-year-old Michelle would have been thrilled to spend her life mucking stalls, as long as she got to ride every day! I loved music and writing too, but I wasn’t nearly as committed to them as I was to my four-legged passion. I also wanted to be a mom.

What do you do now?

I’m a freelance magazine writer, a pre-published author and a mom. I’m also a PATH International certified therapeutic riding instructor, but I’m taking a break from teaching to be home with my kids.

I’m giving you a super power that will make your biggest dream come true–guaranteed. What’s going to happen?

My book Winged is published. I’m in contract for the next two books in the series and have an awesome movie deal. My husband and I bought our dream ranch and have a barn full of Andalusians. I also have a plethora chickens, goats and my very own mini moo. In my free-time (somehow I have free-time too – it’s my wish!) I teach horsemanship to people with all sorts of abilities, and I don’t charge a penny.

Did you ever give up on your dreams?

Nope. Never!

What advice do you have for people who are trying to decide if they should chase their dreams?

If you want it bad enough, it shouldn’t be a decision. The question you should ask yourself is how you plan to bring it to fruition.

If you were a superhero, who would you be and why?

If I was a superhero, I’d be Concentration Girl. Concentration Girl’s ability to focus is so intense that the kids can destroy the house and she can still write. I worked long and hard for this skill!
